Who we are

bestseotoday collects and processes personal data as described in this policy. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

  • Name: bestseotoday
  • Address: Bjerreskovparken 14, 6760 Ribe, Denmark
  • Email: support@bestseotoday.com
  • Phone: +45 87 78 73 19

What personal data we collect

We collect personal data only where it's needed to respond to you or deliver a service:

  • Through the proposal builder and contact form: name, company name, email address, phone number (if you choose to give it), website address, and anything you write in the message field.
  • Through Google Business Profile enquiries or direct phone/email contact: name, phone number, email address, and postal address, where you provide these to arrange a booking or a quote.
  • Automatically, only if you accept analytics cookies: aggregated, non-identifying usage data via Google Analytics 4 (see "Cookies and analytics" below and our Cookie Policy).

We do not collect payment card data, government ID numbers, or any special category of data (health, religion, and similar), and we ask that you don't include this kind of information in a form message either.

Why we collect it (lawful basis)

  • To respond to your enquiry or proposal request: necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To deliver a service once you've engaged us: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep financial records: compliance with a legal obligation under Danish bookkeeping law (Article 6(1)(c)).
  • To run analytics, only once you've consented: consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — withdrawable at any time via "Cookie settings."
  • To keep the site secure and prevent spam submissions: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)), balanced against your right to privacy — this covers our form spam-prevention measures (a hidden honeypot field and a submission-timing check), which collect no personal data beyond what you've already entered.

How long we keep it

If you send a proposal request or message and we don't end up working together, we keep your enquiry details for up to 24 months from your original message, then delete them. If we do start working together, we keep the personal data connected to that engagement for as long as the engagement runs, and for 5 years afterward, to meet Danish bookkeeping requirements under the Bogføringsloven. You can ask us to delete your data sooner where no legal retention requirement applies — see "Your rights" below.

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Personal data may be processed by:

  • Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC, as the provider of Google Analytics 4 (only once you've accepted analytics cookies) — see "Cookies and analytics" below.
  • Our email and hosting providers, strictly as needed to send and receive messages and to serve this website.

We don't use any personal data processor beyond what's needed to run this site and respond to enquiries.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses a small amount of essential first-party storage to run the cookie-consent choice itself and the proposal builder, and — only if you accept — Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, in aggregate. Google Analytics 4 does not load, and sets no cookie, until you actively accept the "Analytics" category in the consent banner or preferences dialog. Full detail, including named cookies and durations, is in our Cookie Policy.

Google Analytics 4 may process data on servers located outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Google relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework to provide an adequate level of protection for this kind of transfer.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the Danish Data Protection Act (Databeskyttelsesloven), you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it (access).
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data (rectification).
  • Ask us to delete your data, where we're not required to keep it (erasure).
  • Ask us to restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances (restriction).
  • Object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
  • Receive your data in a portable format, where the processing is based on consent or contract (data portability).
  • Withdraw consent at any time, for anything based on consent — including analytics, via "Cookie settings."

To use any of these rights, contact us at support@bestseotoday.com or +45 87 78 73 19.

How to complain

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data, we'd like the chance to put it right directly first — contact us at support@bestseotoday.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Denmark's data protection authority:
